The Ottoville Park Board has announced this years annual Park cleanup date. We are planning on starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11th if the weather is cooperative. The rain date is the following weekend, on Sunday, April 19th at 12:30 if needed.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. This annual activity helps to get our park ready for the summer activities. Please bring shovels, rakes or any other cleanup tools you are willing to use. Please ensure your name is clearly marked on any item you bring to ensure it gets returned to you. In the past we have had items come up missing from both the town and personnel equipment.
“We’re fortunate that the river didn’t spill over the banks this year,” said Park Board Vice-President Barry Koester. Troy Heitmeyer, Park Board President further stated, “Last year we had an excellent turnout and I hope to see the residents of Ottoville continue to show support for our park.”
In addition to general cleanup activities, putting the final topping on the new surface of ball diamond #1 is also tentatively being planned. For additional information or any questions, feel free to contact any member of the board (see abouts us for a complete list).
